Assam-Bound Chopper From Arunachal Pradesh Makes Emergency Landing In Bhutan

The chopper was headed to Guwahati from Tawang (Representational)

New Delhi:

A Guwahati-bound non-public chopper, operated by Skyone Airways, was pressured to make an emergency touchdown in Bhutan on Monday when the pilot seen a technical fault after take-off from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh.

With the assistance of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) in Paro, practically 50 km away from capital Thimpu, the chopper, Skyone MI-172, landed close to Bhutan’s Nganglam helipad.

The crew and all passengers onboard are protected, Arunachap Pradesh’s civil aviation secretary stated.
