Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Okay Palaniswami on Saturday ordered creation of a revolving fund to pay charges of presidency faculty college students who cleared NEET and had been allotted seats in personal medical and dental schools underneath the governments 7.5 per cent reservation. The Tamil Nadu Medical Services Corporation, which has been directed to create this fund, has been requested to settle the schooling and hostel charges on to the respective schools.

“This measure is aimed toward giving impact to my announcement on November 18 to supply put up matric scholarship and different monetary help to all authorities faculty college students who’ve been allotted seats (within the undergraduate programs) underneath the 7.5 per cent quota, Palaniswami mentioned in a press release on Saturday in Chennai. Accusing opposition DMK chief M Okay Stain of enacting a farce by providing to pay the charges, the chief minister mentioned the scholars needn’t await scholarship funds.

“Despite being conscious that these college students would get monetary help from the federal government, DMK provided its assist. This is nothing however a political drama,” Palaniswami charged.
